March 2009 They Voted Yes!!! 15 member House government Appropriations Committee cast a unanimous yes vote for Lea Fite's bill (HB147), amended by Dr. Donald Williamson, State Health Officer. Following Spring Break, the entire House will consider passage of HB147. March 31, 2009, Unanimous YES vote in the AL House for HB147!! Work now begins in the Senate! We need prayers we need petitions, and we need telephone calls sent to the Alabama Senate. Please call your senator and tell them to vote yes to HB147. Uninsured Alabama women need our help.
