Representative John Knight, Chairman, Government Appropriations Committee, wrote: "This legislation would provide Medicaid eligibility for certain women who have been screened and diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer by any health provider whether or not funded by Title XV funds for screening services. I am proud to support this legislation. HB147 passed successfully in both chambers. It was signed into law by Governor Riley on April 30, 2009. The Act number is 2009-320."
